Jaypee (Pvt) ITI a bilingual and co-educational Institution, was inaugurated on 23 November 2002 by the then Honorable CM of Himachal Pradesh Professor Shri Prem Kumar Dhumal Ji, is located at Samirpur in the picturesque hills of District - Hamirpur(HP), on NH 003 connecting Hamirpur and Mandi Districts of Himachal Pradesh. The campus is spread over in 10 acres, nestled in the Jaiprakash Sewa Sansthan Parisar, Samirpur.

Jaypee ITI Samirpur is one of the few educational institutions run by Jaiprakash Sewa Sansthan, a “Not for Profit Trust” founded by Shri Jaiprakash Gaur Ji, Chairman Jaypee Group. Initially, the trainees were trained in three trades and currently training on four viz. Electrician, Fitter, Mechanic Motor Vehicle (MMV) and Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician (RAC). The institution possesses State of Art Infrastructure and Modern Workshops to cater for ever evolving skills development requirements towards achieving National Skill India Mission.

At ITI, the emphasis is on holistic development of the students which, besides skill's training also includes soft skills, IT Training, Sports, extracurricular activities and character building.

  JP ITI has stood the test of time and has created a benchmark for others to emulate by consistently ranking high in the state of Himachal Pradesh. In the recently announced ranking by the Govt of India, JP ITI has been graded as number one in the state.
